In order to fully realize the gravity of our capability, we have to take a walk down memory lane and look at where we’ve come from. Let’s take a look at some of our groundbreaking models throughout the 20th century and discover how, even back then, when automakers were all doing the same thing, we were pioneering new capabilities:

1959 Datsun 1000 – Though pickup trucks of the time were powered by massive V8 engines, the Datsun 1000 was powered by a single liter four cylinder engine. Despite its compact size, the 1000 could haul a quarter ton and drank a fraction of the fuel compared to other trucks.

1987 Nissan Pathfinder – The ‘87 Pathfinder gave many consumers their first taste of adventure. Featuring advanced 4×4 capability, two doors, and a massive rear tailgate, the Pathfinder gave the Jeep Wrangler a run for its money.

1988 Nissan Hardbody – Nissan Hardbody trucks quickly became known for their seemingly bulletproof design. Able to take a beating and continue to power forward, you can still spot Nissan Hardbody trucks conquering off road trails to this day.
